We are excited about your interest in launching a chapter at your college campus and believe that your leadership can make a significant impact.

Why Charter HER University?

By chartering HER University at your college, you are opening the door to a community rooted in support, inspiration, and collaboration. Our mission focuses on empowering young women to flourish, succeed, and break barriers in their academic and personal lives. Joining our movement means being part of something larger—a sisterhood dedicated to championing inclusivity and empowerment.

Our Core Values

At HER University, we are driven by our core values, which serve as the foundation of our organization and guide every action we take:

  1. Empowerment: We believe in the strength and potential of young women. Our programs and initiatives are designed to inspire and uplift, helping individuals realize their unique abilities.

  2. Inclusivity: We cultivate an environment where everyone feels welcome. We celebrate diversity and ensure that every voice is heard and valued within our community.

  3. Collaboration: Together, we achieve more. We promote teamwork and encourage collaborations that foster shared learning, support, and growth among our members.

  4. Leadership: We cultivate future leaders through mentorship and skills development, empowering women to take initiative and make a difference within their communities.

  5. Sisterhood: A strong network of support is vital for success. We build lasting relationships and connections among our members, nurturing a sense of belonging and support.

Application Process Overview

Our application process is straightforward but thorough, ensuring that we find dedicated individuals who resonate with our mission. It consists of two key parts:

Part One - Application Submission:

Begin by filling out our application form, where you can showcase your qualifications, experiences, and most importantly, your motivations for starting a HER University chapter on your campus. Your insights and passion matter to us!

Part Two - Interview via Zoom:

Those who qualify will be invited to a virtual interview via Zoom. This conversation will allow you to further elaborate on your vision, goals, and how you plan to contribute to the HER University community. We want to know how you envision creating a transformative space for women at your college.

MEET THE FOUNDER

Hey Ladies! I am Exzabriana Barton, I am THE founder of Becoming Her International. I am 21 years old and I study psychology with a minor in political science at THE Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University.

I started Becoming Her for personal reasons. Going to FAMU I was in a shell, and all I did was work on myself and become my "HER". During my journey, there were issues and a lack of resources that I ran into, so I wanted to start an organization where I will be helpful and resourceful to other young ladies and college students on their journey to becoming their "HER".
