What’s the difference between HER University Nation and HER University Collegiate Chapters?
While both share the same mission, HER University Nation and HER University Collegiate Chapters offer different experiences:
HER University Nation is a virtual space open to young women worldwide. You’ll find mentorship, workshops, and networking opportunities, all designed to help you grow in all areas of your life.
HER University Collegiate Chapters are on-campus groups that provide in-person experiences like events, leadership roles, and hands-on mentorship within a university setting. Think of them as a community of women right on your campus, actively supporting each other’s success.
Both experiences are designed to empower you, but the format is different depending on your location.
If I enroll in HER University Nation, can I automatically join a collegiate chapter on my campus?
Unfortunately, enrolling in HER University Nation doesn't automatically grant you access to a collegiate chapter. If you want to join a specific campus chapter, you’ll need to apply through that chapter and meet any eligibility requirements.
However, HER University Nation members do get free access to all the online program benefits, so you can enjoy mentorship and growth from anywhere.
Do you have to be Christian to be part of HER University?
No, you don’t have to be Christian to join HER University. While HER University is rooted in faith-based principles and incorporates Christian values, we welcome women of all backgrounds. Our goal is to support young women on their journey of personal growth, regardless of their belief system, as long as they align with our mission of empowerment and inclusivity.
What is HER Journey HIS Will?
HER Journey HIS Will is a for-profit business designed to provide mentorship and resources to young women. It operates alongside HER University and offers paid resources, workshops, and coaching to help women on their personal and professional journeys. A portion of its profits (10%) is donated to support scholarships and initiatives at HER University Incorporated.
Who is the Founder of HER University?
HER University was founded by Exzabriana Barton (@iambrianab), a passionate advocate for empowering women and fostering growth.

You can join HER University in two ways:
1. As a Collegiate Member – If your school has a HER University chapter, you can apply through your campus chapter.
2. Through HER University Nation (Online Community) – If there’s no campus chapter, or if you’re not in college, you can still join the online community for mentorship, workshops, and networking opportunities.
