guiding young women through their journey of self-improvement
HER University are proud to equip collegiate girls with the tools and resources they need to succeed in their personal and professional lives
HER University was founded by Exzabriana Barton on July 14, 2022, at Gospel Arena International Ministries. She started HER University out of her passion to help others who were like her.
Her first two years in college were very challenging as she adapted to college life and being away from family. She struggled with adjusting to a new environment and wanted to work on herself.
She noticed that many other young women felt the same way and wanted the same kind of support, so she founded HER University to create a space where women could empower each other to grow and excel in life.

Projects
At HER University, we believe in the power of shared experiences. Every event we host is designed to inspire, connect, and uplift the incredible women in our community.
Here’s a look at some of our most memorable moments.
Back to School Bash 2023
The Back to School Bash was all about equipping students with the essentials they needed to start the school year with confidence. Over 400 students received backpacks, school supplies, shoes, and fresh hairstyles or haircuts, helping to ease the financial burden for families.
Beyond the necessities, the event created a welcoming space for the community to come together. Families enjoyed bounce houses, cotton candy, and snow cones, making the day both meaningful and memorable. Thanks to the support of sponsors, volunteers, and community leaders, this event provided more than just school supplies; but encouragement, support, and a sense of belonging for every person who attended.
The Spring induction Cookout 2024
The Spring Induction Cookout was a day of fun, food, and fellowship, bringing together members of HER University and partnering organizations. Attendees enjoyed outdoor games like kickball and tug-of-war, while a 40-foot inflatable obstacle course added to the excitement.
The event also featured free food, music, and giveaways, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Cotton candy and snow cone machines provided sweet treats, making the day even more enjoyable. With members from Da Real Gamma Chi Chapter of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity Inc., FAMU Baseball Club, and The Lovely Ladies of TorQue in attendance, the cookout celebrated the spirit of community.
HER PINK GLAM AFFAIR 2024
The HER Pink Glam Affair was a night to remember, celebrating sisterhood, confidence, and empowerment. Attendees came dressed in their finest pink attire, ready to shine and enjoy an evening filled with music, dancing, speeches, and inspiring ceremonies.
The event created an atmosphere of connection and glamour, where women came together to celebrate each other and feel empowered in their journey. It was a true celebration of beauty, unity, and strength.
