Meet the Founder: Exzabriana Barton

Exzabriana Barton is the visionary Founder and Executive Director of HER University Incorporated, a groundbreaking organization dedicated to empowering young women to become their HER—the best version of themselves. At just 22 years old, Exzabriana has already made a significant impact, drawing on her experiences as the granddaughter of a preacher, an entrepreneur, and the oldest child and grandchild on both sides of her family. Her strong faith, entrepreneurial spirit, and deep sense of responsibility have fueled her mission to inspire and uplift others.

Exzabriana earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU) and is currently pursuing her MBA at FAMU as a first-year candidate. Her academic and personal journeys have given her the tools, insight, and resilience to lead with purpose. From a young age, she has been passionate about helping others, and her life’s goal is to motivate and empower young adults worldwide to realize their full potential and live fulfilling lives.

HER University was born from a place of reflection and purpose. During her time as an undergraduate student, Exzabriana noticed a gap in the support systems available for young women navigating the challenges of college and life beyond it. She longed for a community that could provide not just resources, but also genuine sisterhood, encouragement, and spiritual guidance. Understanding this need, she decided to create HER University—a place where young women could find belonging, motivation, and the resources to thrive.
